We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations and leadership of our Under Armour Factory House in Tawa. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role will lead the performance, culture, and success of this high-performing store.

Key Responsibilities:
Achieve store budgets through a best-in-class customer service experience.
Understand active selling and how to coach your team to increase conversion results.
Ensure wage budgets are adhered to, and scheduling is efficient & effective (right people, right place, right time).
Provide clear direction and support to your team to maximise opportunities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Driving a culture of excellence through best-in-class customer service and fostering a culture of product tech experts who proudly deliver a working knowledge of the fit, fabric, function & details of the products we offer.
Develop a connected, people-first culture where each teammate knows the role they play and how impactful their contribution is to your store's success.
You impart your knowledge and will develop your team to uplift the capabilities and skills across everyone.
Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure succession planning, recruitment, and team development are in the forefront of your mind.
About You:
Proven success in Retail Management. You are an experienced Assistant Manager who's searching for the next step, or you're a skilled leader who is looking for a fresh, fast-paced change.
You’ll have a passion for people; ensuring an amazing experience for both team members and customers is always achieved.
You’ll naturally take an OWN IT approach to your role and drive a solution-oriented way of working.
Experience in leading employee relations and taking a people-first approach to all you do.
You'll be well-versed in setting clear expectations and holding discussions with the team when developing or re-shaping the performance culture.
You know how to motivate a team, grow sales & performance results.
Experience working within apparel and/or footwear industry is preferred.
