We’re growing, and we’re looking for a Delivery Manager who shares our values and wants to make a genuine impact.

About the Role 

As our Delivery Manager, you’ll be at the heart of how we deliver — leading our project delivery team to ensure every build runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. You’ll manage multiple renovation, addition and specialist new build projects, ensuring each one is on time, on budget, and built with pride. You’ll also work closely with our General Manager to strengthen our systems, processes, and team capability — helping Smartway Builders continue to grow as the building partner of choice for our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading, mentoring and supporting our delivery team to do their best work

• Overseeing multiple residential projects from planning through to completion

• Driving quality, communication, and client satisfaction at every stage

• Managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively

• Working collaboratively with our clients, subtrades and suppliers

• Helping us continually improve how we work — on site and behind the scenes

What We’re Looking For 

You’re an experienced project or site manager with a background in residential construction who knows how to lead people, plan smartly and deliver results. You have a calm, can-do approach and a genuine desire to help others succeed. You’ll bring:

• 3–5+ years’ experience in residential building delivery, site or project management in New Zealand

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

• A sharp eye for quality and detail

• Confidence with construction systems and software (BuilderTrend experience is a plus)

• A collaborative, positive attitude and a commitment to exceptional service

• Formal Qualification preferred, such as LBP Carpentry or LBP Site
