He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for People Advisors to join our People Experience team.
Reporting to the National Manager People Partnering & Advisory, you will work closely with the team and our stakeholders to add value in many aspects of HR, including:
Provide expert HR advice on various people matters.
Handle employment relations cases (e.g., disciplinary matters, performance management, investigations).
Offer generalist HR support and lead HR processes.
Support people projects and cyclical initiatives.
Build positive relationships and influence stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of New Zealand employment law.
He kōrero mōu | About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
2 - 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, ideally at Advisor or project level
Applied knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice
Experience supporting employment relations processes, including performance management and disciplinary matters
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
Proactive, well‑organised and detail‑focused, with confidence using HR systems and digital tools
