We are currently searching for 1 role: Inwards Goods - Deliveries - Zip Plumbing Tawa

Our trade and retail customers are a vital and valuable part of our business, and the successful candidates must enjoy customer interaction, must be able to problem solve, be flexible and have a friendly can-do attitude.

Candidates will need to be individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment but can remain calm under pressure and work well with others to achieve our goals.

What we are looking for: 

• A motivated person, with a positive and friendly attitude 

• Someone who is fit & healthy  

• Someone who is friendly, with good people skills. 

• Basic computer knowledge would be beneficial however is not essential as training on our software will be given. 

• A pleasant phone manner and communication skills are essential. 

• Previous customer service experience is an advantage 

• A full and Clean driver’s license is essential 

• Must be able to drive manual vehicles 

• A forklift License would be an advantage

The role involves serving our customers on the trade counter,  ordering stock, managing paperwork, liaising with customers regarding every aspect of supply and assisting the Branch manager with any other tasks required to best fulfil customers' requirements. The position is answerable to:

Branch Manager 

Area Manager

Hours are:

Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 5 pm 

Saturday hours on roster 8 am to 12 pm

The role will provide versatility and an ever-changing challenge, moving with the rapidly growing Plumbing industry, no one day will be the same as the next. Successful candidates will be joining well-established teams with long-serving plumbing experience, meaning training and assistance is always available.

Plumbing / Trade experience is preferable, although training will be provided.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
