About the Role:
We are seeking a Massage Therapist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about client care, skilled in therapeutic massage, and looking to grow in a supportive, wellness-focused environment.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Perform a range of massage techniques to promote relaxation, recovery, and injury prevention.
Provide therapeutic treatments that may include deep tissue, sports, or relaxation massage.
Offer wellness advice, including stretching and relaxation techniques.
Use appropriate tools and aids where needed (e.g. oils, heat, cold therapy).
Maintain client treatment records and ensure hygiene standards are met.
Greet clients professionally and create a calm, welcoming environment
Key Terms and Conditions:
Pay Rate: $25 to $30.00 per hour depending on skill, qualifications, and experience. Earnings Structure: All earnings are hourly. Occasional bonuses may be offered based on client retention and repeat bookings.
Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week.
Location: Neoni, 204 Main Road, Tawa, Wellington
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
Minimum Requirements:
Experience working in massage or therapeutic bodywork.
Strong understanding of massage techniques and client care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
Must have legal right to work in New Zealand
Desirable but not required:
A relevant qualification in massage therapy
Experience in providing facials
First Aid certification
