A people person who builds great rapport with others

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience in mentoring and coaching individuals

Great at managing your own time and prioritising

Comfortable with digital tools and eager to learn new technologies

Hold a current, full NZ driver's license

Bonus: a background in a trade and/or experience in the education sector

As a BCITO Training Advisor, you'll play a crucial role throughout the Porirua & Kapiti regions, primarily supporting apprentices in carpentry. Your responsibilities will include providing mentoring support, conducting assessments (both onsite and via our online platform), and collaborating with employers to identify skill needs and promote apprenticeships.
