We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Motel Housekeeper. This is a fast-paced role focused on ensuring our guest units are serviced to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
The Schedule
Primary Shifts: Monday to Friday, morning starts (typically starting between 9 - 10 am).
Weekend Availability: Ideal candidates will be available to work weekends as well.
Hours: Work finishes once all scheduled rooms are completed (usually before 1 pm). It a casual job. No minimum hours are guaranteed. May have 8 - 20 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities
Room Servicing: Stripping and making beds with fresh linens, vacuuming, and dusting.
Bathroom Sanitation: Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting toilets, showers, and vanities.
Kitchenette Care: Cleaning microwaves, fridges, and washing/drying dishes.
Restocking: Replenishing guest amenities (soaps, tea/coffee, towels, and milk).
Reporting: Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or damages.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in motel or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred.
Speed & Quality: Ability to clean to a high standard within set timeframes.
Location: Must live in Tawa or the immediate surrounding area for reliable morning starts.
Physical Fitness: This is a physically active role involving lifting, bending, and being on your feet.
